The Calgary Flames are going to make big changes this off-season. All signs have suggested as much for a while now. Given the way Calgary bowed out of the playoffs – three straight defeats, topped off by a Game 6 loss where they allowed seven consecutive goals – I’m even more sure the Flames will be reshuffling the deck.
The only connection is the fact that he was born in Jersey. Can't reasonably believe that our management would go for him with 2-years remaining... or i hope not--
Love this take. Look, I'm ready for this decade of dreary to be over for the Devils, but it didn't end with Hall, and it won't end with Gaudreau in this deal. Any big-name players who come to NJ this season need to be UFAs who can be flipped for prospects later. Johnny can come home in 2 years if the price is right.
