Yeah, I agree 100%. Leave the hot line alone and let's see if Hughes, Bratt and Meier can create some magic together. Was kind hoping Shara would thrive with those two, but didn't work out that way.
Having a proven finisher who can keep up with the pace of Bratt and Hughes will be fun to watch. If it doesn't work out, playing Nico and Timo together is a pretty nice fall back option.
Those lines look juicy, can't wait to see them in a game. I do at some point want to see the Swiss players together on a line but adding that size to Jack's line does make sense so it seems he isn't afraid to drop the mits and is happy to throw his weight around. Timo is going to be a monster on the forecheck playing along side hughes, I'm seeing a lot of turn overs and extended stays in the offensive zone.
Jack is good at everything, except faceoffs. He has worked hard every summer to improve some facet of his game and has been very successful at it. I am sure that he is not pleased with being very poor at faceoffs and will work on this skill next summer! Jack may never become great at faceoffs but I'm pretty sure that he will become at least decent at that, with time!
Anyone know where Timo usual spot on the PP is? We've been dying for a shooting threat on the power play all season and Timo should bring a missing element to that too. Just hope there is a natural fit with the unit they have now. Maybe move Timo to Bratt's spot and Bratt into Palat's. Keep Nico in the bumper.
Would you consider Boqvist instead of Wood on L4?
Yes but ruff probably won’t

We'll see both Timo and Nico on the 1st Power Play, anyway!
Worst part is waiting for Meier to heal. He sounds doubtful for Wednesday’s game. Want to see this in action...now!!!!
I do wonder if long term they want Mercer to take faceoffs for Hughes. That kept coming up as the reason that Haula was with Hughes for so long.

Great take Alex. "play timo with the 3rd best player in the league". Brilliant!
