P.K. Subban
Subban has been a disappointment during his time with the Devils. He hasn’t produced anywhere close to the level of offense that was initially expected and, at times, trying to do so has caused more harm than good.
This season he has simplified his game and often times played lower in the lineup than in previous years. That’s served him well, especially of late.
Subban owns a 55.66 xGF% over the last month and the Devils have out-scored opponents 9-5 with him on the ice at 5v5. He has played solid, simple defensive hockey. He has taken out a lot of the attempted flare with the puck and hasn’t chased big hits without it.
