New Jersey Devils GM Tom Fitzgerald has a lot of big decisions to make this off-season. At or near the top of the list is what to do with Lindy Ruff and the coaching staff.
To say that things haven’t worked out as planned through Ruff’s tenure would be an understatement. Ruff led the Devils to just 46 wins over the last two seasons, more than only the Seattle Kraken. The Kraken, in case you weren’t aware, have played one season.
That’s right. Outside of the newest expansion side, no team won fewer hockey games than Ruff’s Devils. They’re 46-92, good for a winning percentage of 33.3%. Not good.
